What is CAT?
Cambridge Academy of Translators UK is an academy for translators chartered under the laws of the United Kingdoms. CAT aims at unifying international translators and interpreters of all languages and providing a platform for certifying, training, research and job placement. CAT is open for international cooperation with translation and interpretation institutes in different countries and regions to meet the needs of both the translators and the market.
What does CAT do?
Issue translator certificates, Cambridge Certified Translator (CCT-Ⅰ, CCT-Ⅱ, CCT-Ⅲ);

CCT-Ⅲ Interpreter Criteria
This is the advanced professional level and represents the competence to handle complex, technical and sophisticated translation/interpretation. CCT-Ⅲ translators/interpreters handle complex, technical and sophisticated material, compatible with recognized international standards. They may choose to specialize in certain areas. CCT-Ⅲ Interpreters practice both consecutive and simultaneous interpreting in diverse situations, including at conferences, high-level negotiations, and court proceedings.
